Funding and oversight partner
Future Skills Fund
The Future Skills Fund is the funding mechanism and operational oversight layer supporting the current AI.SPIRE pilot, through the Crown Prince Foundation ecosystem in Jordan.

At a glance
What a funder-side operating partner contributes.
Funding is the visible part. The harder contribution is the coordination that lets several organizations deliver one program.
- Role
- Funding mechanism and operational oversight for the AI.SPIRE pilot.
- Ecosystem
- Connected to Jordan's wider youth and skills agenda through the Crown Prince Foundation ecosystem.
- Programs supported
- The current AI.SPIRE pilot cohort of 51 learners, the first pathway on the Darb.Tech platform.
- Delivery partners
- LevelUp Economy for curriculum and delivery; Istidama Consulting for local operations.
The contribution
Capital, clarity, and a route into the national agenda.
Funding
Capital that supports capability
Funding the operating model rather than a single course lets the program aim at durable capability instead of one-off training activity.
Oversight
Operational clarity
The funder role helps align stakeholders, track delivery against what was agreed, and keep the pilot connected to its larger goals.
Ecosystem
A bridge into the skills agenda
Through the Crown Prince Foundation ecosystem, the fund connects AI.SPIRE to a broader national focus on youth opportunity and economic participation.
Funding logic
Turning capital into coordinated implementation.
In the LevelUp model, funding does the most work when it strengthens the whole system: curriculum, delivery, employer relevance, reporting, and the pathways that come next.
Phase 01
Set the mandate
Clarify what the initiative needs to accomplish for learners, employers, institutions, and the wider economy before delivery begins.
Phase 02
Fund the delivery architecture
Support the operating model behind curriculum development, hybrid delivery, learner support, and partner coordination — not the classroom hours alone.
Phase 03
Maintain accountability
Use oversight and reporting to keep implementation visible and aligned with what stakeholders were told to expect.
Phase 04
Build a platform for what follows
Use what AI.SPIRE teaches to inform future programs, including the cyber defense pathway and other Darb.Tech work.
A funder who only pays for delivery gets delivery. A funder who funds the architecture around it — curriculum development, partner coordination, employer engagement, reporting — gets something the region can run again without them. That is the arrangement this initiative is structured around.
