Convening

The regional systems roundtable

A convening format that brings governments, employers, funders, educators, and builders into one conversation about growth conditions, delivery constraints, and what stronger coordination should unlock next.

  • Roundtable
  • Multi-stakeholder
  • Ecosystem alignment

This describes a convening format rather than a scheduled event. No date or venue is set; the page exists so partners can see how LevelUp runs a roundtable and what it is meant to produce.

Purpose

Bring the right stakeholders into the same room. The aim is to make the systems thesis practical by convening the actors who influence talent, demand, capital, and institutional capacity — the people whose decisions have to line up for a region's growth work to hold.

Participants

Governments, employers, educators, funders, and ecosystem builders. The strongest convenings reflect the same multi-stakeholder logic that shapes the rest of the LevelUp model: no single actor owns the outcome, so no single actor should own the conversation.

Intended outputs

Insight, alignment, and future collaboration paths. A strong convening leaves the room with clearer priorities, shared language, and concrete next steps for institutions, funders, and delivery partners.

Why the format matters

Convening is part of the work, not a promotional tactic. Roundtables make the model usable by giving stakeholders a place to compare assumptions, surface constraints, and identify where real coordination should happen next.
